Nothing beats a great shopping day except getting great deals on what you are shopping for. Whether shopping for you are a bargain hunter, or just trying to stretch your Christmas shopping budget, here are some ideas on where to get the most for your money locally in Wyoming, Michigan.

Women of all ages like jewelry, and if you have been paying attention to the cues, you will know what type of jewelry she likes. Kohl’s, at 3790 Rivertown Parkway in the Rivertown Mall, has a great selection of costume and real jewelry and often run special discounts at different times throughout the week. Hours are: Monday through Thursday 8am to 11pm, Friday 8am to midnight, Saturday 6am to midnight, and Sunday 9am to 10pm. Avon is an excellent source for budget Christmas shopping and you don’t even have to leave the house! Just pick up a catalog and give a call to your local Independent Representative (mine is Gloria). Avon has an excellent collection of costume jewelry, fragrances, ornaments, clothing, and accessories that will easily complete your Christmas shopping list.

If gift cards are a better fit for your budget, then Macy’s and Younkers, both in Rivertown Mall, are for you. They almost always have great deals, especially after Christmas when she will use the cards. Macy’s is open Monday through Saturday 10am to 9pm and Sunday 11am to 8pm. Younker’s store hours are Monday through Saturday 10am to 9pm, and Sunday 11am to 7pm.

Personalized keepsakes are extremely reasonable at Things Remembered. Located at 3700 Rivertown Parkway in the Rivertown Crossings Mall, Things Remembered carries a large assortment of birthstone necklaces, charm bracelets, and other keepsake items that can fit any budget. Hours are Monday through Saturday 10am to 9pm and Sunday’s noon till 6pm.

Thrift stores are good places to shop on a budget. The Nice Twice Resale Shoppe at 2852 28th Street, SW in Grandville has a rotating selection of quality items, but you do need to go often since they rely completely on donations to stock the store. The store is run by the Calvin Christian School Association to help offset tuition. Store hours are Monday and Thursday 10am to 7pm, and Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday 10am to 4pm. They are closed Sundays and Holidays.
